BASi Research Products

BASi was founded as a part of Inotiv, Inc. in 1974 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to commercialize an electrochemical detector for liquid chromatography. Since then BASi has grown as an instrument company that provides academia and industry equipment for electrochemical experiments and in vivo sampling. BASi’s portfolio comprises potentiostats, galvanostats, liquid chromatography products as well as a broad array of accessories for static and flow experiments, such as flow cells, electrodes and cell stands.

Ivium Technologies

Ivium, the leading manufacturer of potentiostats, is also an important contact in the field of battery research. The single and multi-channel systems Vertex, IviCycle and OctoStat are extremely popular with users due to their large current and voltage range. Of course, all devices have impedance and can be equipped with a 5th channel for measuring the half cells. The easy handling of the CycliScan software, especially for battery researchers, completes the appearance.

Leancat was founded in 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic, to commercialize the research results on catalysts for fuel and electrolysis cells. In addition to fuel cell systems and electrolysers, the focus is on fuel cell and electrolysis test stations. Leancats portfolio ranges from various pre-configured systems (100 W to 50 kW) up to fully customized test stations. In addition, the product range includes in-house developed cell fixtures with a compressed-air mounting system.

Neware has been developing and manufacturing reliable battery test systems for research and technology since 1998. Neware's portfolio ranges from small-scale battery cyclers for research institutes to battery systems for the e-mobility market. In order to adapt the environment such as temperature or humidity for the electrochemical tests, Neware offers climatic chambers especially for the test devices or climatic chamber and battery cycler in one device.

Newtons4th Ltd. (often abbreviated to N4L) was established in 1997 with the aim of developing and manufacturing innovative electronic equipment for the world market.

Today, N4L is best known for its excellent power electronics instrumentation, including power analysers, frequency response analysers, impedance analysers or AC sources.

Novonix

Develops specialized technology & equipment for long-life and high-performance battery applications and advanced high-performance materials and services for the global production of lithium batteries. The products are used in the field of battery cyclizers for battery formation, measurement of internal DC resistance, aging tests, determination of C-rate, etc.

One outstanding product is the ultra-high precision coulometry system (UHPC) developed by Professor Jeff Dahn from Dalhousie University in Halifax. This globally unique system can be used to analyze electrochemical systems, such as batteries, with high precision and speed during charging and discharging.

Origalys

Origalys was founded by employees of Radiometer Analytical and aims to set new standards in electrochemistry. Palmsens

Palmsens specialises in the manufacture of small, portable instruments for sensor development. Due to the extensive software, the devices can of course be used in many areas of physical chemistry. With its dimensions of 43 x 25 x 11 mm, the EmStat is probably one of the smallest potentiostats in the world.
